the white box ergonomically mounted on the pilot's right - it contains
the instruments and switches. The standard VDO instrument panel is
corrosion resistant. The one shown here adds a locking lid and an
extra bit of weatherproofing. Everything on an AirRanger is designed
to last 20 years in a marine environment. Materials are mostly high grade
aluminum and stainless steel. Nylon is used in bushings.
