If you work outdoors, or if you are out there just for plain fun, the relaible "AIR-RANGER" can take you there and bring you back. Whether you are carrying oil crews throughout the southern marshes or carrying hunters to an isolated duck blind, the advanced design of American Airboats offers ruggedness, reliability and safety. Piloting an "AIR-RANGER" gives you that special feeling of independence and pride at the controls of a superbly designed machine. A machine that can take you to the most remote sites on earth. Air Ranger hulls are constructed of non-corrosive .5086 Marine Alloy Aluminum pioneered by the US Navy. 3/16 inch sheets are used for the bottom and the sides are welded from 1/8 " stock. American's tough UHMC polymer bottom works better than Teflon (r) to create a low friction fluid effect, on snow, sand, or in the toughest sawgrass. The design of the gussets and braces and the quality of the welding provide such unequalled ruggedness that American Airboats can extend the best warranty in the industry. Handling your "AIR-RANGER" is a dream. Carefully designed air-foil rudders utilize the slipstream to assist movement with the push-pull steering linkage. Superior quality advanced design and pure pride have made the American Airboat the LEADER in the Airboat Industry. Stan Floyd, President
