This photo shows two optional additions to the standard   AirRanger - a grass rake and a stainless steel railing.  The AR-502 mates a powerful 500 h.p. engine, reduction drive, 4 blade composite prop, and a superior hull design to give you the fastest planing, best handling, airboat that money can buy. 

The rake is needed when the airboat is used in tall saw grass or other grasses and reeds found in wetland areas.  The solid  stainless railing can be added for passenger safety and to enhance their sense of security. 

The railing is just one of dozens of safety features.  The railing is an extra cost option but most safety features are found on every Air Ranger.  For instance, there are no exposed sharp edges anywhere and non-skid is applied to all surfaces where people are likely to step. A smooth rounded radius gunnel extrusion is used in place of the angle iron found on cheaper designs. An automatic engine shut off is available.  The same system is used on personal watercraft.

Where the carpet ends on this boat, the deck can be coated with RhinoHide, a thick rubbery material sometimes found on truck beds.  It has durable good looks and helps deaden the sound of the engine.

The AirRanger hull is bulletproof.  This protects hunters who have been known to misfire through the bottom of their boat.  The hull will take all manner of abuse withough breaking a seam or springing a leak.  We make the hull extra tough because we have to pay for any warranty repairs. 

This boat features weatherproof cases for housing VDO instruments, switches,  GPS direction finder. The boat also has CB radio and cell phone communications.

This roomy 20 x 8 ft. boat provides seating for 6 plus over l000 lbs. of gear.  It not only gets you safely through the shallow water in can move with equal ease over dry land.
