Your rudder control is in your left hand, your foot is on the accelerator pedal.  All the instruments and switches are in a weatherproof  box on your right. Lift the transparent cover, turn the key to engage the starter.  The motor springs to life.  Hit the accelerator and you are off like a rocket. (see photo)
