A stock Air Ranger still holds the land speed record for airboats.  We no longer hold the water speed record - that record was broken by boats designed solely for speed and is now over 120 mph.  Our overland speed record was set in a stock 3 seat AirRanger. We build rugged work and sport boats and go anywhere amphibious limousines.  Speed is only one of our design considerations. 

This roomy 8 ft. x18 ft. (actually 20 ft. + with the rake) boat can provide comfortable seating for 5 plus over 800 lbs. of gear.  It not only gets you safely through the shallow water in can move with equal ease over dry land.  The fact that we still hold the overland speed record means that we know how to extract the maximum in all terrain performance.

 

 The pictured boat was only the third Air Ranger series we had produced.  The new design has been so successful that we have phased out production of our former hull design.  The old design had been recognized as an industry leader.  The new design is better in every respect.  Lighter, Stronger, Improved rigidity, Quicker to plane, More secure in the turns.
