The AirRanger high performance airboat is built to high quality standards and exacting
specifications. This ATV is the culmination of over 35 years of development,
testing, and manufacturing experience. Airboats are custom built but the prices are in line with bay boats of similar size and power. Airboats have much stronger hulls and are more versatile. Prices range from $18, 000 to $50,000 depending on size, powerplant, propeller, and other options. The patented AirRanger hull can be built in any size. The most popular choices are 7x14 and 8x20 -see photos The welded all aluminum hull is built from the strongest marine alloy (5086). The hull is reinforced with braces, gussets, side brakes, and 7 longitudinal stiffeners. As one owner with years of airboat experience put it - compared to other boats, the AirRanger is "built like a tank." A Teflon like polymer is attached to the bottom of the hull for added protection and reduced friction. The hull is so durable and rugged it carries a lifetime warranty - the best in the industry.
